The Role:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Poker Content Writer. In this role, you will be producing professional looking news and evergreen sales funnel type content.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Experienced writer, able to write compelling copy, typically expected to produce 3,500 words a day
  • Wordpress experience - able to produce professional looking news and evergreen sales funnel type content
  • Writing high-quality pages for websites by briefs created by editors and SEO
  • Prepared to write any form of content to drive revenue to poker sites we are affiliated with - sometimes boring keyword-heavy SEO copy
  • Research and stay up to date on the latest trends, news and developments in the poker industry

Requirements:

  • Have had a passion for poker for two decades, in since the Moneymaker WSOP win and online boom
  • Thousands of posts on TwoPlusTwo or similar forums poring over hand histories
  • Have played a large sample size of poker online, live or both
  • Strong command of the English language (either native speaker or dual)
  • University graduate or strong academic background with an eye for detail and problem solving skills
  • Be able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Knows the rakeback, VIP deals etc. of the major online poker sites, has played on many
  • Knows how the landscape has changed over the years, from Black Friday to Absolute/UB, Chinese poker apps to crypto poker sites
