ResponsibilitiesWork with colleagues on developing network automation solutionsTranslate high-level and low-level designs into reality delivering high-impact solutions to our clientsWork daily in an IDE of your choice to be implementing solutions using a variety of tools and technology such as Ansible, Python, Django, Jenkins, Jinja, pyATS, Terraform, device APIs, Chatbots, and much more.Participate in daily standups to review your progress on projects being vocal on what you’ve accomplished, what your next steps are, and if you have any blockersParticipate in the peer review process by reviewing projects, designs, and code for various network automation projectsConduct research to stay updated on the latest trends and projects in the network automation industryBuild and maintain a CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and maintainabilityHelp prioritize feature development based on client deliverablesTranslate manual workflows into automation based on low-level designsWork with colleagues to make informed decisions on solutions delivered to our clientsArticulate AHEAD’s message and common network automation use casesQualifications Ability to break down complex concepts and present them in a clean and concise wayAbility to travel at minimum 4 times a year to client sites, additional travel could be for conferences, internal events, and others possible opportunitiesComfort performing your day-to-day development in a Linux environmentExtensive experience with Ansible, Terraform and/or Python automating networking devicesExperience with Django for creating custom APIsAwareness of tools and libraries such as pytest, Nornir, NAPALM, and BatfishFamiliarity with CI/CD and how it could be applied to network automationFamiliarity with concepts around data management including Source of Truth strategy, NetBox/NautoBot, CMDB, and management of variables within YAML filesFamiliarity with traditional Git workflows for working in a collaborative environmentFamiliarity with Docker, specifically building, maintaining, and deploying custom containers3+ years in infrastructure automation at scalePassion for customer experience and successSolicitude in helping customers throughout their automation journeyA collaborative, team approach, working on internal and external effortsThe drive necessary to see a project through to completionWhy AHEAD:
