Position: SAP Architect – Digital Transformation

Role Responsibilities:

• SAP Solution Design:

  • Lead the design of SAP solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for SAP implementations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP architecture and design.

• System Integration:

  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise systems, both SAP and non-SAP.
  • Develop integration strategies and oversee the implementation of middleware and integration solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization through system integration.

• Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor SAP system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning measures and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of SAP solutions.

• Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP development and support teams.
  • Mentor and coach team members in SAP technologies and best practices.
  • Stay updated with SAP trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and oversee security measures to protect SAP systems and data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits as necessary.

• Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with SAP vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with vendors to leverage their expertise and support for SAP solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party SAP add-ons and solutions when needed.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP architecture, configurations, and changes.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to management and stakeholders on the status of SAP projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Typically 8-10 years of experience in SAP architecture, design, and implementation.
• SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate or SAP Certified Application Associate, are highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an SAP Architect or in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of SAP technologies and solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP CRM, and others.
• Expertise in SAP integration technologies, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Familiarity with SAP security and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
