Job Description:

As a Sales Manager at Phreesia, you will lead a dynamic team of sales representatives focused on selling to our existing customers. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and motivating your team, driving performance, and ensuring that we maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining outstanding customer relationships. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement within the sales team. Your evaluation & development of talent will be critical in the cultivation of a high performing sales organization.  Reporting to the senior sales leadership, you can expect to apply your skills of leading people, developing sales talent, selling to existing customers, crafting and refining processes & advising internal stakeholders. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement within the sales team. On-site travel for client meetings is expected when necessary.    

What You’ll Do:  

  • Provide managerial oversight, personal mentorship and skills development for direct reports (Account Executives and Senior Account Executives) 
  • Meet assigned objectives and growth metrics by leading team production of selling net new contracts, client expansions, re-contracts, due diligence and execution of complex deals. 
  • Produce (1) consistent team objectives achievement, (2) clients that adopt and utilize Phreesia products consistently, (3) expansion at existing clients, (4) career advancement of accomplished team members.   
  • Help build and deliver prospect presentations and proposals to showcase value of Phreesia and support sales reps in closing deals. 
  • Understand and hold accountable sales reps’ adherence to the standard operating processes of the organization and ensure accurate SFDC pipeline data integrity. 
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership (Director, VP, SVP levels) to continually refine/enhance Go To Market initiatives, tools and tactics. Collaborate with Dealdesk and sales leadership on complex pricing options for large clients.   

Types of Deals: 

  • Existing Client Base Upsell/Cross Sell Opportunities 
  • Current customer expansions and Broad Adoption post-Land 
  • Client acquisitions and recontracts 
  • Due Diligence (RFIs/RFPs) with large, complex organizations 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience managing sales organizations of varied size/scope/experience or 3+ years’ sales experience with demonstrated record of success or documented leadership/ mentorship experience. 
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced SaaS environment. 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to drive decision-making, improve sales performance, and the ability to multi-task. 
  • Determined self-starter & entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to deliver exceptional results. 
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Excellent presentation & product demonstration skills   
  • Proficient in CRM software tool such as Salesforce.com, MS Office Suite, and sales enablement tools.  
  • Ability to travel on-site to meet with clients as needed. Estimated at 25%.

Base pay for US is $140k - $160k annually. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. Certain positions are also eligible for variable pay and/or equity; your recruiter will discuss the full compensation package details.
