Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of clinical genomics in Europe? As a Technical Product Manager (f/m/d) with LGC Clinical Diagnostics, you'll play a pivotal role in helping to enable the promise of clinical genomics by supporting the timely and accurate implementation of next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based tests through a combination of training, advocacy, pre-sales activities, troubleshooting and general guidance.You'll work directly with our customers and key opinion leaders (KOLs), guiding them in leveraging our industry-leading reference materials to enhance assay development, validate tests, and ensure ongoing performance monitoring.

In this impactful role, you'll collaborate closely with sales and support teams, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients. Your insights will drive both product and market development, making you an essential resource in clinical applications like tumor profiling, liquid biopsy, heme malignancies, non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), and inherited disease assays.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the expert: Serve as the primary field-based support for our clinical genomics portfolio, guiding customers to unlock the full potential of our products.
  • Influence outcomes: Coordinate pre-sales activities like product demos, tech evaluations, and conference participation, turning early prospects into success stories.
  • Build partnerships: Cultivate relationships with top labs for early product evaluations, gathering crucial feedback that drives product development.
  • Deliver excellence: Provide fast, expert-level technical support with a focus on superior customer service.
  • Shape the future: Offer strategic insights to product management and R&D, helping guide the next generation of breakthrough solutions.
  • Represent the brand: Showcase LGC CDx’s reputation and values at scientific meetings, tradeshows, and in every customer interaction. Be ready to hit the road with 25% (or more) travel as needed.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with clinical sequencing applications in Oncology, reproductive health, or inherited/infectious disease testing.
  • Deep expertise in NGS platforms and workflows, including Illumina and Thermo-Fisher systems, and diverse library prep/assay chemistries.
  • Regulatory know-how with CAP/CLIA, CE-IVD, or global IVD guidelines.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Strong communication skills, from persuasive presentations to clear, concise technical guidance.
