IT Architect (Azure)

      The IT Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud and data strategies. This role requires an individual who is not only deeply technical but also possesses a strategic mindset to integrate Azure solutions seamlessly into our business operations.

• Lead the administration and optimization of our Azure cloud environment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
  
• Manage and configure Intune for mobile device and application management, aligning with our security and compliance requirements

• Design and implement data architectures that support scalability, reliability, and performance across our enterprise.
  
• Develop, deploy, and manage Azure data warehousing solutions, leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, to support advanced analytics initiatives.
  
• Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and security.
  
• Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
  
• Conduct regular audits and performance tuning of Azure services and SQL Server databases to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services, data warehousing technologies, and analytics trends to continually enhance our capabilities.
  
• Develop comprehensive documentation and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistent application of Azure and data solutions across the organization.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on Azure cloud services, data architecture, and analytics.
  
• Extensive experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Active Directory, Intune, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other related services.
  
• Proficient in designing and implementing complex data architectures and data warehousing solutions.
  
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and security.
  
• Strong understanding of best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, capable of leading projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  
• Relevant certifications in Azure, data architecture, or SQL Server are highly desirable.
