What are we looking for?
Inventory Data Specialist to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle through accurate and efficient management of our Inventory Management System (IMS). The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless data integration, implement data governance policies, and provide technical support and training to staff.

What are you expected to do?

Database Management – Inventory Management System:
  • Set up, design, and maintain customer, supplier, and product data sets in the IMS.
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of product data, including SKUs, Bill of Materials (BOMs), product configurations, etc.
  • Update product pricing and costs across all organisations and geographies.
  • Design or modify custom document templates for purchase, sales, and warehouse processes.
  • Develop and implement processes for efficient data entry, data cleansing, and data maintenance.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent repetitive errors.
Data Integration:
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration between inventory data and other business systems.
  • Oversee data import/export processes to ensure accurate data transfer between systems.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows and database structures for increased efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies in collaboration with the IT department to ensure data quality and consistency.
Technical Support & Training:
  • Provide technical support for inventory database systems and troubleshoot data issues.
  • Train staff on best practices for database usage, data entry, and data analysis.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory platform specifically in Cin7 or DEAR system.
  • You have experience in database management, data administration, or a similar role, within inventory management.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (includes formula, functions, macros and VBA)
  • You have experience in setting up, designing, and maintaining customer, supplier, and product data sets in the Inventory Management System
  • You possess basic knowledge of eCommerce.
  • You have a good understanding of inventory management practices.
  • You have a good understanding of basic accounting principles.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

  • There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
  • We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
  • If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
