Simulation Engineer

Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice is engaged in the production of starters, air dampers and valves, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and innovative electric generators for hybrid vehicles, as well as the regeneration of alternators, starters, dual mass flywheels and compressors for car air-conditioning. Valeo Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice has its own modern research and development center which provides innovative solutions for car manufacturing.

Currently for our entity Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzicewe recruit Simulation Engineer.

Your challanges:

• Performing mechanical simulations  for electric motors and its parts (static and dynamic);

• Performing mechanical strength assessment and fatigue assessment for electric motors and its parts;

• Optimisation of the design to meet the strength assessment requirements;

• Supporting the project team on simulation topics;

• Definition and correlation of tests with simulations;

• Improvement of simulation workflows.

Join our team if you have:

• Master degree in mechanical engineering or similar;

• Recorded experience with mechanical simulation and strength assessment;

• Experience with the following tools: Simcenter 3D, Ansys Mechanics, nCode and FEMFAT;

• Knowledge in the field of mechanical design  and manufacturing processes for electric motors would be good;

• Fluent English;

• Teamwork spirit, precision, multitasking ability, result orientation;

• Experience in automotive Industry will be an asset.
