On our own growth journey to make YAZIO the most successful nutrition app worldwide, we're in search of an experienced Platform Engineer to ensure our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. Your goal will be to develop and administer the technical infrastructure that underpins our mobile application. If you enjoy automating systems and their deployment, optimizing performance, and scaling distributed systems while keeping everything secure, weâre looking for you.

This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

Your Mission

Design and manage infrastructure configurations for high availability and performance
Automate processes for consistent and reliable deployment and scaling
Monitor application performance, execute optimizations, and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate closely with development teams to tailor infrastructure to application needs
Document systems processes and architecture, guiding cost-efficiency in infrastructure utilization
Adopt new technologies and integrate third-party services for continuous platform enhancement
Offer internal technical support for the team, perform system maintenance, and ensure scalability to meet user demands

Your Profile

3+ years of industry experience as a Platform Engineer, or equivalent, within a tech-focused company
Expertise in Kubernetes-based cloud platforms, containerization, and IaC tools
Skillful in scripting/programming and automation pipelines
Strong understanding of database administration and system/network security protocols
Exceptional analytic, problem-solving, and communication capabilities
A collaborative mindset with a track record of cross-functional team interaction is a plus
Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills
