SAP BI/BW Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and further developing the existing SAP BI Landscape (SAP BW and SAP BO) and new future tools
• Ensuring smooth operation of the BI system landscape
• Providing consultancy and support for our internal client and business/functions departments
• Supporting the users in operating the system including ticket handling
• Participate in projects and changes within SAP BI, Analytics, area
• Resolve operational issues and analyze incidents and problems
• Defining functional requirements. Leads analysis and design of the SAP BI/BW/BOBJ solution in close cooperation with the client (business)
• Developing and delivering technical solutions, including training to users
• Ensures stabilization of the solution and continuous improvement
• Implementing SAP BW on ECC 6.0 specific modelling like using LSA++, Composite Providers and exposing BW objects in Views, Operational Data Provisioning, ADSO
• Sound Knowledge on SAP BW 7.4/7.5 on new features like Advanced DSO's, Composite providers
• Integration knowledge of SAP BW with ECC6 or S4/HANA and other SAP Suite products
• Strong Knowledge in data modelling including Datasources, Infoproviders, Process chains,  Extractions, Transformations, and Loading of data into BW constructs (PSA, DSO, Cubes) and expertise in data extraction procedures from non-SAP systems such as third party systems like Oracle, flat file
• Additional knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), also used in Syntax
• Experience with data extraction from SD, MM, FICO modules

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in SAP BW with at least 3 years in BW on HANA
• Additional knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Information Technology, Business/Administration, Technical, Computer Sciences, Information Systems
• Extremely conversant with Excel and PPT
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent work ethic, and the ability to learn new tools and techniques and apply them to client problems across industries
• Hands on experience and a proven track record for the pursuit of excellence and a strong ability to cope with pressure
• Working in coordination of a highly skilled and experienced AMS team
• Very good Communication skills are mandatory
• Working remotely
