About the Role:

Location – France remote

Our Norton Brand is seeking a high-energy, ambitious, and competitive Business Development Mgr. in the Retail vertical. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new strategic partnerships in consumer cyber safety with a focus on France. This will involve developing new channels for emerging categories to sell through strategic accounts. Consumer cyber safety has evolved beyond device protection, and we see growth opportunities associated with privacy, identity & reputation. Finding the right partners to seize this market-leading opportunity is core to this role.


The role will involve identifying new partnerships in the French region, to grow cyber safety categories and working with these partners to derive value from their customer base, or potentially help mitigate risk associated with cybercrime. This is an opportunity to get creative and build new GTM models to find the right partners and unlock growth potential. You will own these opportunities from start to finish and work with internal teams to onboard & enable these new partnerships. Even though the focus of this role is on developing new categories you will still have access to the full Cyber Safety portfolio at Gen, to maximize the value of any new partnerships.

You will work closely with our GTM Field Marketing Managers to implement your ideas around the most effective and efficient ways to generate awareness and gain share through new partners. Whether it be software integration strategies, category development, customer outreach, promotional events, or a combination of these, you’ll find every available way to drive growth through our partners. This is a cross-functional role where a deep collaboration between Sales, Field Marketing, Product, and Operational teams will find solutions to grow revenue and market share. You will work alongside these teams to implement and execute measurable growth strategies that result in making our products the choice of customers.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Develop a strategic partnership target list and actively pursue these accounts with a compelling value proposition
  • Build opportunity pipeline
  • Build awareness of our consumer solutions in new verticals/channels through campaigns & events
  • Work with partners on program/promotion execution to ensure we fully activate new partnerships to derive expected value
  • Assist with product roadmap development to ensure we meet partner & market needs.
  • Focus on driving sales performance through key initiatives. 
  • Create, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision makers, with a focus on strategic, high-level executive contacts. 
  • Develop consultative sales relationships and provide thought leadership in selling and growing security and digital safety. 
  • Bring customer insights and relevant market intelligence back to internal cross-functional teams. 
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting inputs to the Operational and Finance teams. 
  • Build robust internal presentations to communicate strategies and partner considerations to key stakeholders including financial analysis, customer insights and category trends and crafting a narrative that concisely and compellingly explains key messages. 
  • Meet with customers, attend trade shows, partner training events, etc. 


What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

  • Experience with selling solutions within industries in the France region
  • Strong knowledge of Retail business focusing on software
  • Experience crafting proposals & pitching to prospective accounts
  • Strong understanding of, and ability to demonstrate, computer apps, smartphones, and tablet computers, either in an iOS, Android, or PC platform. 
  • Fluent business English


Desired

  • Experience selling cyber security solutions or subscription-based technologies
  • Exposure to financial services market would be beneficial
  •  Technical familiarity with cyber security products
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
