Your missions

Public Relations Manager
New York, NY (onsite)
8+Month Contract

Supports and coordinates local and state media relations efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote brand, network, reputation, and innovation efforts with consumer and business media.
  • Assist local leadership with media relations for marketing and sponsorship activities; provide strategic counsel on managing brand and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and state media outlets across print, broadcast, online, and social media.
  • Executive speech writing, pitching stories, securing positive coverage, writing and editing news releases and speeches, and responding to media inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a communications role, preferably in the TV or advertising industry.
  • Advertising/Ad Tech experience required.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful communication campaigns.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional skills.
