About The Role

As a Tech Lead Manager, you will combine technical excellence and team effectiveness to drive outcomes for Jasper customers. You will spend time coding, technical design, and problem-solving, and have architectural oversight over evolving Jasper’s multi-modal AI platform. This is a pivotal role, bridging the gap between engineering and management. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.

This fully remote role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

 What you will do at Jasper
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

  • Take initiative, prioritize and manage workloads, and meet project deadlines

  • Define the technical design, architecture, product development, and scope to deliver on customer outcomes and company mission

  • Empathize with our users and nurture the quality of their experience as much as you do the quality of our code

  • Ensure overall reliability and scalability for systems developed

  • Work directly with customers, while building strong partnerships with product and design

What you will bring to Jasper
  • 8+ years of experience in feature development as a full-stack developer

  • Deep technical expertise across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, application platforms, etc)

  • Good computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design with sound investigative and debugging skills

  • Ability to write readable, maintainable, self-documenting or well-documented code to solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions

  • Ability to tech lead and manage medium to large-sized business critical projects of 3 - 7 developers

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $210,000 - $250,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
