Sr. Manager, Innovation Product (Strategic Insights) at SageSure

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Senior Manager for the Home Services team. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across various home services programs to develop and communicate actionable data-driven insights and outcomes. Your audiences will include both internal stakeholders (e.g., leadership, employees, etc.) and external parties (e.g., producer partners, policyholders, state representatives, etc.).  

The Home Services team is responsible for evaluating, piloting, and scaling a diverse portfolio of loss prevention initiatives (e.g., IoT devices, mitigation services, etc.) to enhance the confidence and peace of mind of our policyholders, helping them avoid disruptive damage and unexpected costs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing program-level and portfolio-level communications on behalf of a technical innovation-focused team.   

What you’d be doing: 

• Provide leadership to the Home Services team, collaborate with the team and partners across the business (e.g., marketing and sales) to establish SageSure Home Services as a high-visibility, high-impact contributor to the organization.  
• Analyze a wide array of data streams (e.g., customer behavior data, claims data, etc.) for ongoing loss mitigation programs to inform strategic communications.  
• Develop compelling visualizations, dashboards, slide decks, written documents, etc. to communicate key updates and insights for technical projects in collaboration with individual project leaders. 
• Manage experimentation with messaging, pilot testing, offering design, and incentives applying principles of behavioral economics to maximize engagement and take-up for new programs.  

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• Masters’ degree or equivalent in business, business analytics, or a related technical discipline. 
• Experience managing product marketing in an analytics-focused business including development of thoughtful visualizations that aid in storytelling. 
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across a diverse group of stakeholders to develop impactful content.  
• Ability to apply critical thinking across multiple disciplines with comfort to operationalize complex product solutions.  
• Experience managing highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams.  

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

• Experience managing IoT or other innovative loss prevention products and services within a P&C insurance company or an industry-serving entity.  
• Experience piloting and launching innovative products or services working with software development teams.  
• Experience using open-source programs (e.g. python, QGIS, etc.) to test hypotheses and interrogate complex datasets.
