Job Description Summary
As a GE90 HPT module team member in the Fleet / Product Support Engineering (PSE) role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within
functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. You will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives with a strong execution focus. This role contributes directly to the division goals and objectives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work within a module team (global PSE, repair, design) to work collaboratively and produce results for our customers.
  • Manage competing priorities (Aircraft-on-Ground inquiries, Salesforce inquiries, monthly customer updates, repair development, etc.) and remove obstacles to meet customer needs.
  • Build mutually beneficial and lasting customer relationships through the Working Together Team (WTT) monthly teleconferences and the annual face-to-face sessions.
  • Participate in field event investigations to analyze data and assist in the return-to-service activities and/or root cause.
  • Collaborate with the module leaders to analyze shop/field data and identify trends.
  • Become the focal point to provide guidance with airline line maintenance inquiries.
  • Analyze fleet data to look for leading indicators.
  • Author GE90 service bulletins and update the engine/airframe maintenance manuals to have clear instructions and consistency across the models.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may impact work.
  • Use a high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
  • Have the ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and ability to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Use multiple internal and external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Aviation related engineering position.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid work model: work from home Mondays and Fridays. Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
  • Ability to be on-call for customer support nights and weekends as needed
