Position: Senior Product Manager – Consumer Experience
Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule
Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager for NAF Hub Web is responsible for defining the strategy and vision for New American Funding's web-based consumer portal, which enables consumers to apply for mortgages and manage their loan applications seamlessly. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to create an intuitive and user-friendly web experience that simplifies the mortgage application process and enhances customer engagement. The Senior Product Manager will leverage market insights, customer feedback, and business objectives to prioritize features and drive the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
As the subject matter expert for consumer web applications in the mortgage sector, the Senior Product Manager ensures that the web portal aligns with New American Funding's overall product strategy and business goals. Core responsibilities include setting the strategic direction, managing the product roadmap, and overseeing the development and implementation of features that deliver exceptional value to users.
Salary: $155 - 175K/yr d.o.e.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the NAF Hub web portal, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Roadmap Management: Define and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the web portal, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Customer-Centric Design: Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring the web portal provides consumers with a seamless and intuitive experience.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure transparency and clear communication regarding product development and delivery.
- Agile Methodology: Operate within an agile framework, continuously refining the product backlog, conducting sprint planning, and ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the web portal, using data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, leveraging A/B testing, user feedback, and data-driven insights to enhance the web portal experience.
Qualifications:
Desired Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, marketing, business, or related discipline
- At least 5+ years’ experience as a product manager or in a similar role.
- Must have experience in developing B2C web applications
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, technologies, and frameworks
- Experience in Mortgage Lending, Personal Loans, or Auto Lending will be a plus
- Proficient in agile methodology
