ActiveCampaign is seeking a senior leader for Postmark, our transactional email product and business unit. The successful candidate will lead the growth of transactional email at ActiveCampaign. This role will drive the vision and strategy for the product, identify key commercial opportunities and segments within the industry, and be a key partner to complement the core ActiveCampaign business.
This role will report to the Chief Product Officer and partner closely with key leaders of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and a range of internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer organizations.
As Head of Postmark, the focus will be on defining and building the commercial strategy for business growth. Through a matrixed leadership structure, you will highly influence the product roadmap and support the optimal way to drive revenue growth and support the Postmark customer base.
What your day could consist of:Build and execute the commercial strategy for our transactional email business unitDefine the Postmark product strategy to lead in the overall transactional email market and lead product and engineering teams through executionAnalyze the current competitive landscape to define Postmark’s positioning in the market and build the product roadmapDefine Postmark’s ideal customer profilePartner with ELT-level leaders in Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer to ensure all teams are focused on supporting all customers’ needsDevelop an optimal pricing and packaging strategyFacilitate alignment with a cross-functional team to achieve product KPIs (ARR, NRR, etc.)Lead and inspire all team members contributing to the growth and success of our transactional email businessAssess current and future needs of the Postmark business unitWhat is needed:You have a deep understanding and passion for the tech landscape, with a deep understanding and background in transactional and bulk email, along with best practices for email sendingYou have experience leading high-performing, multi-functioning teams in a matrixed environment You have directly held and delivered revenue targets and demonstrated commercial success in previous roles – particularly with building growth levers generating new business and onboarding new customersYou understand how to work within an incredibly fast-scaling business and have the energy and passion around thatYou devise unique ways to solve problems, you’re able to connect the dots and nail down the root causes of problems.
