Role Overview:
As the VP, Sales - Interfaith, you will be responsible for leading our strategic sales initiatives and driving revenue growth within the interfaith sector. This role encompasses establishing and optimizing our sales process specifically tailored to interfaith organizations, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on expanding our market presence and establishing impactful partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting interfaith organizations, focusing on acquiring new accounts and expanding market presence.
  • Set up and optimize the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

Lead Sales Team and Operations:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team with a focus on the interfaith sector, providing mentorship, guidance, and motivation to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish clear sales objectives, performance metrics, and KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in interfaith organizations, positioning SOULCHI as a trusted partner.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations, demonstrating a deep understanding of interfaith needs and delivering compelling solutions.

Revenue Generation and Forecasting:

  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and effective pipeline management within the interfaith sector.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets aligned with company goals and financial targets.

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances within the interfaith community to enhance market reach and accelerate sales growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the interfaith sector to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader with a focus on interfaith or non-profit sectors, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales roles, including team management and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation in the interfaith sector.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Compensation Opportunity: Competitive commission structure + Equity incentives until break-even.

As part of the SOULCHI team, you will participate in our equity-based compensation model plus commission, aligning your success with the success of our business. After the break-even point, equity freezes, and compensation transitions to salary + benefits. Equity percentage is paid out annually as part of profit sharing.
