The Field Service Engineer (f/m/d) will be a part of the service team and report to the service manager for Radiometer. You will be responsible for installation, repair, calibration, testing instruments and managing positive customer relationships.

This position is part of the service team located in South Austria (Styria, south of Burgenland) and will be fully remote. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Follows logical troubleshooting procedures and diagnoses problems in a timely matter

  • Develops strong partnerships with Sales personnel to aid in anticipating potential customer issues and uncover additional selling opportunities in accounts

  • Reviews solutions with customers; discusses needs and ensures a safe operation situation

  • Acts as a consultant to the customers in regards to their 360 degree needs for service and support (both analyzer, application, IT, IoT and Cyber Security)

  • Cross covers other regions as necessary

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • One year Field Service Engineer or related experience – medical field preferred

  • Basic knowledge of IoT, networks, IT and Cyber Security

  • Electronic Technology Diploma or similar

  • Local language and English working proficiency

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Commercial mindset that understands how the business makes money, what customer wants, and what problems/challenges of the industry

  • Effective in making appropriate service decisions within deadlines

  • Basic Networking or IT system upgrades / troubleshooting experience
