Primary Function

The Director Strategic Growth – Wholesale is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to all aspects of Sales & Operations for the Wholesale Channel by using analytics to drive performance.

Principal Duties:

  • Work with peers, and SVP for all aspects of planning, reporting, data analyzation for sales development, sales strategy, sales production, and performance marketing.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement short & long-range objectives consistent with company business goals, guidelines, and programs.

  • Support the ongoing development of our Direct to Broker channel including training, marketing, and sales process.

  • Drive revenue growth through sales process development, implementation and optimization and close collaboration with the overall organization to grow revenue.

  • Provide leadership and direction for channel in a call center and distributed environment.

  • Monitor and manage team performance regarding production and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that helps the sales organization focus on performance drivers.

  • Successfully perform other duties as directed.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Mortgage Sales and Operations process development.

  • 7+ years’ supervisory experience.

  • SAFE ACT certification and NMLS certification.

  • Expert level knowledge of mortgage industry products and programs.

  • Expert level knowledge of industry regulations, laws, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to provide strategic direction to subordinate staff, both direct and indirect reports, managing through intermediate staff when appropriate.

  • Ability to set performance deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.

  • Ability to organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and responsibilities.

  • Ability to monitor employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.

  • Ability to scale the sales organization based on market conditions.
