Position Overview
The Business Development Executive - AI Data Solutions is a dynamic and diverse role within the Global Accounts Sales Team. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving the revenue and profitability growth of AI Data Solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading go-to-market strategies in your region, and supporting clients in the machine learning and AI space. You’ll be a trusted advisor, sharing thought-leadership and valuable industry insights to prospects and existing clients. Your primary goal will be to generate revenue growth and increase market share by effectively promoting Telus International’s service offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- “Identify and research potential business opportunities through market analysis, industry trends, and have a deep understanding of clients’ AI products and machine learning initiatives and objectives
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to attract new Strategic Clients and expand with existing accounts
- Generate new leads and opportunities from sales activity, outbound campaigns, attending conferences and regional organizations, etc.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing the value of AI Data Solutions services
- Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve revenue targets and other sales performance metrics
- Advocate for your client and be customer focused
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams to align on clients’ objectives and exceed clients’ expectations
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, and evaluate the effectiveness of your business development strategies and activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Communicate strategic information such as market intelligence, key customer data, competitive analysis to internal constituencies
Skills & Abilities
- Experienced in developing, leading and influencing C-Level discussions with target clients.
- Resourceful ability to access target client organisations internationally to build relationships.
- You will have a curiosity to uncover the challenges being faced by target clients and a problem-solving ability to develop a solution in real-time
- Commercially astute with an intuitive understanding of the stage of a prospect’s decision-making process and the steps necessary to move them through their decision making process. An understanding of how to educate clients on how to make the decision is of relevance for “first time outsourcers”.
- Strong experience and competency in “Closing” Deals
- Prioritisation of tasks through logical analysis
- Ability to map stakeholders and to network within a target client organisation
- Disciplined progression and reporting of opportunities
- Natural interest in capturing intelligence and sharing with internal teams to enhance the overall development of the TELUS International
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Hunter / Sales experience, preferably in artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Strong understanding of the machine learning and AI industries
- Proven track record of closing $5 Million+ Revenue growth per year
- Understanding of of business data analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Location : Remote US
Pay: The base compensation range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
