The IT Analyst in Business Operations will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining IT processes and systems that support and enhance business operations in a small but growing company. This role is critical to ensuring that IT services are efficient, secure, and aligned with both current and future business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high data quality through governance practices, regular analysis, and setting preventive measures.
- Evaluate, implement, maintain, and improve IT systems* to enhance business operations.
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, including server security and domain management.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for data-driven decisions.
- Lead strategic IT projects with a focus on long-term improvements.
- Negotiate with vendors, manage IT expenses, and make informed build vs. buy decisions.
- Enforce security protocols and ensure reliable data backups, including anti-spam/phish measures, multi-factor authentication, and system reliability.
- Develop and monitor preventative measures; work with SaaS providers to troubleshoot issues and outages impacting our platform.
- Manage and improve the company’s knowledge base, ensuring it is accessible and inclusive.
- Occasionally build and maintain API integrations between IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
*Relevant Systems: Salesforce, Office 365, ActiveCampaign, Cvent, WordPress, Box, Asana, Salesforce Community Cloud, Alchemer, Adobe Suite, Quickbooks, Zoom, AWS.
Salary range: $55,000-$75,000
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Analyst or similar role within business operations.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, business processes, and data analysis, specifically Salesforce
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with various stakeholders.
