Compensation Range: $40 - 50 per hour

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our client in crafting beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces!

In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to discover efficient and effective workflows, generate clean and artful design elements, and transform them into stunning user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have the ability to blend creativity with technical expertise, ensuring that every user interaction is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to development-ready design reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand product goals and user needs, and present solutions to enhance the visual and interactive experience.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that simplify complex design challenges and enhance user friendliness.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data and user research.
  • Uphold and maintain the enterprise design system across all branded digital experiences.
  • Adhere to brand style guides and standards, ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, and images.
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of user experience research and testing methods to inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to and promote best practices, design guidelines, and standards.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, ensuring designs are responsive, accessible, and user-friendly.
  • Stay informed about trends and user feedback, applying this knowledge to enhance designs.
  • Work within an Agile environment, collaborating with other designers and teams to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Apply a solid understanding of accessibility and usability guidelines and best practices.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in design decisions.


Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, or other visual design and wireframing tools.
  • Proven UX/UI experience across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, and tablet viewports.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing demonstrable UX/UI design skills.
  • Familiarity with analytics and experience platform tools, such as Google Analytics and FullStory.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and accessibility.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
  • Ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Understanding of motion design and its role in informing interactive experiences.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • General understanding of the front-end development process, including HTML and CSS.
  • A B.S. in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or a related field is a plus.
