Job description

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to read through one of our open roles. We’re looking for an exceptional Product Designer to join our Product team and we hope this could be a match made in heaven.

Who is Peppy?
Our mission is to fix healthcare & wellbeing. We do this by supporting the employees of our global clients, including JP Morgan, Disney, Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft, Sony, Clifford Chance, Wells Fargo, Bloomberg, and over 200 others.

Having already revolutionised the employee benefits sector with our innovative clinical products – such as the world’s first menopause benefit – we are now building the world’s most advanced benefits management platform. Think of us as a “Deel for Benefits” – a rocket-ship opportunity with a mission that truly matters. The global benefits sector encompasses employer-funded pensions, critical illness insurance, private healthcare insurance, and many other categories. This is a trillion-dollar TAM with weak, incumbent competition and almost no AI-first startups stepping up to the challenge.

We are a Series B company with $56m in funding to date, operationally cashflow positive, and with secure access to additional capital for accelerated growth. Join us for the ride of your life.

What will a day in the life of our Product Designer look like?
  • Embracing the chaos that comes with early-stage products, turning ambiguity into clarity
  • Quickly adapting to new information and changes in direction with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Driving and leading user feedback sessions, synthesising insights to inform design decisions, and iterating on designs based on real-world user needs and pain points
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life, all while keeping the end user in focus
  • Taking ownership of the entire design process—from concept to execution
  • Constantly iterating on designs based on user feedback and business requirements, even if it means starting from scratch

  • Our dream Product Designer will have:
  • 4+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful products in fast-moving environments
  • A passion for fast iteration and the ability to thrive in a setting where change is the only constant. You don’t just tolerate the chaos of early-stage startups—you thrive in it
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, using it as your go-to tool for design, prototyping, and collaboration
  • Comfort working in ambiguity: you can navigate unclear or changing product direction and use it to fuel your creativity
  • Experience working on desktop products alongside mobile or web applications (Nice to have)
  • Skills in rapid prototyping and user experience design, allowing you to quickly turn ideas into testable concepts (Nice to have)
  • A background in early-stage startups, where you’ve experienced the need to pivot and adjust quickly, tearing up previous work without hesitation (Nice to have)

  • You may not check all of these boxes, and that’s totally fine! We strongly encourage excited candidates of all backgrounds to apply.

Still looking for more intel? Here’s some other really cool things about Peppy which might be helpful:
  • We raised a $45mil Series B fundraise January 2023, led by Albion VC
  • We’re one of Europe’s fastest growing HealthTech scale-ups
  • We are remote-first, headquartered in the UK with 100+ employees across the UK, USA and Europe
  • We're proudly B-corp certified and mission-led
  • We are rated one of the Top Startups to work for by LinkedIn, Sifted, Tempo and Flexa

  • Much like us, we know you’re into perks and benefits, so here’s a list of ours:
  • Access to Peppy: You can receive free unlimited access to the Peppy app to use our Menopause, Fertility, Baby, Women’s Health or Men’s Health services

  • Holidays: Peppy employees in the UK get 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays
  • Remote-First: We're a remote-first business, rather than remote-only. So you can choose between working from home, or in our Holborn office

  • Tech: New joiners receive a company MacBook delivered in time for your first day

  • Package on offer for our Product Designer:
  • Salary of between £85,000 and £100,000 dependent on your experience

  • Equality & Diversity:
