Overview:
Purple, Rock, Scissors (PRPL) is seeking an experienced 3D Illustrator to join our creative team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating high-quality, photo-realistic 3D illustrations that align with our design objectives. This role requires a creative eye, technical skill, and a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D illustration, particularly in photo realism.
Planned Contract Term:
This is a part-time contract position, expected to run from September 2024 through December 2024. The engagement requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule offers flexibility, but the contractor must be available to meet project deadlines and collaborate with our team during regular business hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute 3D illustrations that meet project requirements, emphasizing photo-realistic quality.
• Collaborate closely with our design and development teams to ensure that 3D assets are integrated seamlessly into various digital platforms.
• Work within project timelines to deliver high-quality work on time and within scope.
• Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from the creative team and clients.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in 3D illustration and incorporate them into your work.
• Manage your workload to ensure that all projects are completed within the allotted 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a 3D Illustrator with a strong portfolio showcasing photo-realistic work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D).
• Excellent understanding of lighting, shading, texturing, and rendering to achieve photo-realism.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality visuals.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Must be a U.S. resident. Residency in Orlando, FL, is a plus, but not required.
• Prior experience working with digital agencies or in a freelance/contractor capacity is a plus.
