Full Stack Developer

The Opportunity:

As a back-end developer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you’ll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

3+ years of experience developing web services against big data technologies, using Java, C#, or Python
3+ years of experience with development using Java Spring and Spring Security
2+ years of experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
2+ years of experience deploying Kubernetes within a platform or cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
2+ years of experience with automation tools, including SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet
2+ years of experience with Helm and Terraform
Experience developing web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, and a framework, including Angular, React, or Vue
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

Experience with AWS or Azure
Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium
Experience with distributed computing frameworks, such as Apache Spark
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with machine learning frameworks
DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
