Business Intelligence Lead Analyst

What is this position about? 

As a Senior Business Intelligence Lead Analyst, your core duties will entail designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining business intelligence products for our clients.  

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office! 

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, Fabric, and other relevant tools.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored BI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting to ensure clarity and usability.
• Analyze large datasets using tools like Presto (preferred) to extract actionable insights.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Continuously monitor and optimize BI systems for performance and scalability.
• Utilize Azure DevOps (preferred) for project management, continuous integration, and delivery of BI solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology and Computer Science.  

• Proven ability to lead and manage BI projects from inception to completion.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Power BI and Fabric (Tableau, Looker and/or Google Analytics are nice to have as additional tools). 

• Solid SQL experience, demonstrating the ability to create and maintain tables and views, with an understanding of SQL best practices for query performance. 

• Familiarity with ETL tools. 

• Experience analyzing large datasets using tools like Presto (preferred) to extract actionable insights.

• Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions such Azure or AWS.

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights to across teams. 

• Experience with Python is a plus.

How much experience must I have? 

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience working as Business Intelligence Analyst or related positions, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
