Wilson Sonsini is currently looking for a New Business & Conflicts Analyst to join the firm's Conflicts team to support the east coast business hours. The daily hours for this role will be 6:00am - 3:00pm (EST). Working under the direction of the Senior Manager, New Business and Conflicts and other in-house counsel, the New Business & Conflicts Analyst reports on potential conflicts of interest relating to client and matter intake as well as new attorney and staff hiring.

This position is available as a fully remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Perform conflict of interest searches for new clients, new matters, and new hires
  • Research corporate information
  • Create new client and matters and update client information in our accounting database
  • Communicate with various personnel within the firm to obtain requisite information to process new clients and matters
  • Assist with other duties related to the resolution and clearance of new business and conflicts issues as assigned


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Able to exercise independent judgment
  • Able to work efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism

The primary location for this job posting is in New York, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $56,100 - $75,900 per year

Salt Lake City and all other locations: $49,300 - $66,700 per year

The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
