Lifeway is seeking an Account Executive | Remote for the Outside Sales team. The Account Executive will be an independent individual who is quick to connect with our ministry partners. He/she will own the responsibility for the successful positioning of all Lifeway products within an assigned territory. The Account Executive's outgoing presence will help them serve as the face of Lifeway to the church staff. Their proactive approach to work will help them select and implement new solutions. Flexibility and ability to multi-task are key attributes for the Account Executive as they will be working closely with Marketing, Publishing, and other sales teams to ensure the needs of the customers are represented well internally. The Account Exec will be an unwavering advocate for the church staff, solution-oriented, and maintain the deep conviction that Lifeway resources can help church staff disciple their congregations.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business plan for assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed sales goals through prospecting, networking, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and facilitate customer adoption of Lifeway products 
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts 
  • Actively keep all key systems, including Salesforce, up to date with the progress in sales opportunities
  • Stay abreast of competitive industry and market intelligence, show dedication to continuous learning on all fronts and provide feedback and input to peers and leadership
  • Provide feedback to peers and internal teams to aid in the development and improvement of sales materials
  • 25-50% travel, including overnight

 

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor degree, preferred

 

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience selling value-based products and/or services
  • Successfully master the following skills: execute tactical cold/warm calling, and prospecting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products
  • Prior experience working with CRM, strong preference given to Salesforce
  • Prior experience working directly with churches, preferred
  • Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
