Job Overview:

As a Product Manager, you will be a core member of the product team, tasked with driving specific areas of product initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to product strategy and execute the roadmap effectively. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and be eager to learn the ropes of product management. An ability to adapt, coupled with strong problem-solving skills, will be key attributes for success in this role. This remote position will report to our corporate office in Gainesville, Florida. 

About Our Perks, Compensation, & Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation ranging from $90,000 - $100,000 per year with total compensation ranging from $110,000 - $122,000.

Responsibilities:

Product Ownership Areas 

  • Manage specific features or modules within the product portfolio. 
  • Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure timely feature releases. 
  • Monitor the health and usage metrics of your product areas.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on feature progress and performance. 

 Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align various departments around product initiatives. 
  • Create simple dashboards or presentations to share updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Support Senior Product Managers in developing and communicating product strategy.
  • Document features and update related internal knowledge bases. 

 Data-Driven Decision Making 

  • Perform basic analyses to understand user behavior, trends, and product usage.
  • Generate insights that can inform product decisions.
  • Prioritize feature development based on data and business objectives.
  • Contribute to quarterly planning with data-supported recommendations. 

 Customer Engagement 

  • Participate in internal and external customer interviews to collect qualitative data. 
  • Use customer feedback and user analytics to propose feature improvements. 
  • Assist in creating and deploying user surveys. 
  • Keep customer profiles and personas up to date. 

  Competitive Analysis 

  • Assist in conducting competitor research. 
  • Track industry trends to inform team discussions. 
  • Help produce competitive benchmark reports.
  • Share noteworthy competitive information with the broader team. 

Product Development Support 

  • Support the creation of product roadmaps and feature lists. 
  • Help prioritize and refine the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with product owners and project managers to ensure feature development is on schedule.
  • Assist in defining product requirements and user stories. 

 Process Improvement 

  • Identify and document inefficiencies in workflows you are involved in.
  • Make suggestions for process improvements within the product management team.
  • Keep abreast of best practices in product management to inform internal processes.
  • Actively participate in team retrospectives to provide constructive feedback. 
Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Five (5) years of experience as a product manager for a software product. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for understanding data and metrics. 

  • Advanced proficiency using Aha! is a plus. 

  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload.
