Field Operations Support Lead

Darkhive is a Defense Tech startup focused on advancing the application of robotics and automation in the public safety and defense sectors.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Support Lead to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Testing Darkhive hardware and software products.
• Submitting bug reports / tickets to development teams.
• Assisting in product documentation development.
• Coordinating product demonstrations for end-users during exercises, expo's, and company events.
• Assist in coordinating DoD exercise participation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Program Management, and Business Development.
  

This role is on-site at our San Antonio HQ facility, no remote or hybrid opportunities for the position are available. Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time is required.

Requirements

• San Antonio Local OR willing to relocate
• Part 107 Qualified
• 5+ years piloting drones
• 5+ years of experience in TAK family of systems
• ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server
• 5+ years of experience with Govt/DoD
• Detail oriented
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Valid passport.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to operate independently

Additional Preferred Experience

• Network certification (within last 5 years)
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Software Tool Experience – Jira, Confluence, Git
• Proficient in Linux
• Experience in the robotics, aerospace, or defense industries
• Active DoD Security Clearance
