Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Project Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of our heavy civil construction projects, including water utilities, road construction, pad building, environmental pipelines, and concrete work. This role involves close collaboration with superintendents and on-site teams to capture, track, and report essential project data. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, with additional experience in Bluebeam Revu, Smartsheet, and Spectrum by Trimble being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Reporting: Collect and analyze production data from superintendents and field crews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work Hours Tracking: Monitor and report on work hours, ensuring alignment with project schedules and labor costs.
  • Equipment Usage Tracking: Track and report equipment usage, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Revenue Tracking: Track project revenue, ensuring accurate billing.
    Vendor and Invoice Management: Assist in setting up and managing vendors, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Billing: Prepare and submit billing statements for management.
  • Collaboration with Superintendents: Work closely with superintendents to gather necessary project information and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Tool Utilization: Effectively use Smartsheet, Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, and Spectrum by Trimble ERP for project management and reporting tasks.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear and organized documentation of all project activities and communicate effectively with team members across different time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Construction Project Management: Heavy civil construction experience is highly preferred, including roads, excavation, utilities, and environmental projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Remote Work Capability: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with reliable phone and internet access.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Smartsheet, and Spectrum by Trimble is highly desirable.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with water utilities, environmental, pipelines, and road construction.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, project management, logistics, business management, or a related field.
