Full Stack Developer Contract

Position Overview:

Liquid Thought is seeking a versatile and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team in a hybrid/remote role. This minimum 6-month contract is ideal for senior developers with a strong background in Angular, Java (Spring Boot), and related technologies. The position involves working on various projects, including both front-end and back-end development, with the potential to transition into developing a complex mobile application using Flutter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Angular Development: Lead front-end development using Angular (5-10 years of experience) focusing on building responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with Material UI, RESTful services, and Node.js integration.
• Spring Boot Development: Drive back-end development using Spring Boot (5-10 years of experience) to build robust, scalable, and secure microservices.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with Flyway for database migrations, SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Linux Development Environment: Work efficiently in a Linux-based development environment, leveraging tools such as Gradle for build automation and Docker for containerization.

Secondary Project Opportunity:

In addition to the primary responsibilities, there is an opportunity to lead the development of a complex mobile application using Flutter. The application will feature components similar to a news feed, marketplace, and wallet. The backend service for this project should ideally be built in Java, Node.js, or Python and interact with a PostgreSQL database.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-10 years in Angular and Spring Boot development.
• Environment: Comfortable working in Linux with knowledge of Gradle and Docker.
• Backend Skills: Proficiency in building microservices and managing database migrations with Flyway.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid/remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flutter Development: Interest or experience in building mobile applications with Flutter.
• Backend Development for Flutter App: Experience with Java, Node.js, or Python, and PostgreSQL for backend services.

Location:

• Hybrid/Remote (flexible location, with occasional on-site requirements).

Contract Duration:

• Minimum 6 months with the potential for extension.
