Description
Trinity Solar, the Northeast largest privately-owned solar integrator, is seeking a Junior Roofing Project Manager to join our growing roofing team. The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for working alongside the Senior Project Manager to plan and execute projects, monitor various platforms and communicate with team members on status changes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meet company standards.
- Customer communication for updates throughout the process, including the day before, the day of, and after completion of the project.
- Define the project’s scope of work and identify potential obstructions to prepare for deliveries and installations. Provide detailed project instructions to installation partners, distribution partners, customers, and other Trinity team members as necessary.
- Track and record roof permit applications on Trinity platforms, keeping team members informed of any status changes.
- Continuously monitor multiple projects at various stages of the roof installation process. Keep project documents updated, upload files, and input information into platforms.
- Review end-of-project photos and documents to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Review and communicate accounting requirements with the client for outstanding payments.
- Serve as a liaison to assist in troubleshooting issues related to roof repair requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Implementation of evolving processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project coordination and company operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the roofing industry or related field is preferred.
- Familiar with permit application processes and municipal requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Must be advanced/proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Flexibility with occasionally working a few weekend and evening hours
- Designated remote workspace with reliable internet access.
- Ability to travel to the corporate office as needed.
