Description

We are currently seeking a full- time Clinical Operations Associate to join our Corporate Clinical Operations team. This position has a 50% travel requirement. 



The Clinical Operations Associate assists the Clinical Operations team in providing continuous expert consultation, guidance, problem-solving, and resolutions for field operations. Assists in program evaluation, accreditation preparation/maintenance, and monitoring of service delivery to support clinically appropriate care that is consistent with contractual requirements and NCCHC/ACA standards. Provides onsite or remote staff training, support, and/or consultation to address identified areas for improvement in service delivery and accreditation readiness. Assists in the development or revision of Company model policies, procedures, protocols, continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools including corrective action plans, clinical documentation tools and templates, and staff training related to service delivery. Supports implementation of new correctional healthcare/behavioral health programs. May support electronic health record (EHR) implementation or refinement when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters in healthcare/behavioral health related field, active nursing license, or health service administrator experience.
  • Active State license in clinical field
  • Three years’ clinical/administrative experience, preferably in a correctional environment
  • Ability to interact well with varied levels of management, clinical and administrative staff in a correctional environment
  • Must be able to work independently, without direct onsite supervision
  • Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
  • CCHP, CCHP-RN, CCHP-MH, or CCHP-A strongly preferred
