🎯 Role: Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
💰 Salary: 80k EUR gross per year on CoE/B2B 
⏱ Working hours: Flexible, with core hours from 10:00 to 16:00
👩‍💻 Working mode: Fully remote
📍 Office location: Berlin, Germany (hybrid option available)
🇬🇧 Speaking language: English (B2/C1 proficiency)

The biggest challenge in this role:
Scaling the infrastructure to support over 1.5 million users while developing new product features and modules that push the boundaries of innovative technologies like AI. This role is a fantastic chance to shape a rapidly evolving platform within a supportive team environment. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of a product that empowers and engages millions of users worldwide, offering numerous opportunities for innovation and leadership.

Your tasks:
  • Implement new features across the stack (backend and frontend).
  • Maintain, design, and scale the platform, ensuring it meets the needs of a growing user base.
  • Work closely with the CTO and collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Optimize performance and lead key decisions in platform architecture.
  • Utilize AWS, EKS, and Netlify while adhering to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and automation testing.

  • What you’ll need?
  • 5+ years of experience with backend technologies like Elixir, Ruby, or Go, with a willingness to work on frontend technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including Redux and Jest, with experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in AWS, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, and DevOps tools like Sentry and Grafana.
  • A problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working in a collaborative, progressive team environment.

  • If you have at least 5 years of experience in other BE language, but you are willing to switch to Elixir and learn it at Femtasy, we will be happy to talk to you!

    Additional pluses:
  • If you have previous experience with AI-driven technologies it will be an asset.
  • We will appreciate your knowledge of best practices in security and privacy, especially in a user-centric platform.
