<title>About the role</title>

As a Lead Mechanic, you'll manage a team of mechanics and ensure their work is efficiently organised, provide them with training and guidance, and help them develop.
In addition, you’ll be in charge of overseeing the warehouse operations where the e-scooter are stored. This includes managing procurement activities to ensure that mechanics have all the necessary equipment and materials to work efficiently.

- <point>Managing and training a team of mechanics and providing regular feedback for their development.</point>
- <point>Taking proactive responsibility for daily and routine operations in the warehouse and maintaining an efficient inventory management system to ensure prompt availability of spare parts.</point>
- <point>Performing weekly and monthly inspections of the warehouse, identifying areas for improvement, and tracking and implementing actions to enhance efficiency and safety.</point>
- <point>Supervising the implementation and training of employees on relevant guidelines in the warehouse, such as diagnosis stations, primary issue evaluation, charging stations, battery management, etc.</point>
- <point>Implementing and maintaining health and safety standards as outlined in our internal policies and legal requirements.</point>
- <point>Supporting the Operations Manager Maintenance on regional projects and sharing best practices across all locations.</point>

- <point>You have at least 2 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in automotive or electronic repair industries and previous experience managing a team.</point>
- <point>You’re fluent in English and the local language and possess strong communication and collaboration skills.</point>
- <point>Your hands-on work demonstrates a high level of initiative in actively seeking solutions to challenges and a strong sense of ownership.</point>
- <point>You possess strong analytical skills and experience working with software like Excel or Google Sheets.</point>
- <point>You're experienced in driving efficiency by improving and standardising processes, and you can effectively prioritise and delegate work assignments.</point>
- <point>You’re capable of working independently and possess strong time management skills.</point>
