DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation:
    • Create engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

    • Include writing captions, creating graphics, editing photos and videos, and designing visuals.

  • Content Scheduling:
    • Use social media management tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social to schedule posts in advance

    • Ensuring a consistent and timely presence on social media.

  • Community Engagement:
    • Engaging with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering interactions, and building relationships with followers.

    • Involves monitoring social media channels for any mentions of the brand or relevant topics.

  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Tracking key metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates to assess the performance of social media campaigns.

    • Generate reports and provide insights to help optimize strategies and achieve marketing goals.

  • Strategy Development:
    • Collaborating with clients to develop social media marketing strategies tailored to their goals and target audience.

    • Involve researching trends, analyzing competitors, and identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Ad Campaign Management:
    • Creating and managing social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

    • Includes setting up ad targeting, monitoring performance, and optimizing campaigns for better results.

  • Influencer Outreach:
    • Identifying and reaching out to relevant influencers or brand ambassadors to collaborate on sponsored content or partnerships, helping to expand the brand's reach and credibility.

  • Content Curation:
    • Finding and sharing relevant third-party content that aligns with the brand's values and interests, providing value to the audience and establishing the brand as a thought leader in its industry.

  • Stay Updated with Trends:
    • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in social media marketing to ensure strategies remain effective and relevant.

  • Customer Support:
    • Providing basic customer support through social media channels, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and directing customers to appropriate resources or departments as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Proven experience as marketing coordinator or similar role

  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent

  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods

  • Specialization in Digital Marketing; various Social Media platforms and LinkedIn

  • Demonstrable portfolio of completed campaigns/projects

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools

  • Well versed in Project Management and adhering to deadlines

  • Experienced in managing resources (financial and others) for marketing efforts

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

  • Comfortable being an individual contributor and managing a team of people helping in marketing efforts

  • Well-organized and detail oriented

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind

  • Maintains an open mind to new ideas and suggestions

  • Develops innovative forward design concepts
