Job description

This is a remote position.

Our Client is a not-for-profit organization with the primary mission of accelerating economic development.
in emerging economies by driving large-scale job creation through entrepreneurship, innovation and skills
development.

Requirements
The Role Context

The leader will spearhead the development, coordination, and management of the network across our foundation,
initiatives targeting Student Skilling, Startups, SMBs, and Government programs. This leadership role demands a blend of
business acumen, relationship building, technological proficiency, and a deep-rooted passion for social impact. The
successful candidate will have a robust background in understanding the challenges faced by students, startups, and SMBs,
and be adept at leveraging existing networks and resources to foster meaningful engagements and solutions.

Network Development and Management:

Design, develop and execute large scale network build programs to foster a vibrant, interactive community
of experts, mentors, and service providers.

Forge and nurture relationships with existing networks, consultants, industry associations, incubators,
accelerators, and other potential network participants to augment the resources available to beneficiaries.

Utilize technology and collaboration platforms to facilitate seamless interactions, ensuring a thriving,
frictionless network that scales effectively.

Strategic Outreach and Engagement:

Engage with a diverse audience including students, SMEs, startups, and government officials to understand
their unique challenges and needs.

Responsibilities

Consult with SME owners, startup founders, and other beneficiaries, offering tailored advice and connecting
them with appropriate experts and resources within the network.

Partner Recruitment and Coordination:

Identify, vet, and onboard a diversified cadre of experts, mentors, and service providers capable of providing
skilling, advice, and execution support.

Ensure a robust mechanism for quality control and continuous improvement based on feedback and
performance metrics.

Leadership and Team Management:

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve the network’s objectives.

Foster a solution-oriented, collaborative culture, ensuring effective communication and presentation across all
levels of the organization.

Social Impact and Community Building:

Drive initiatives that have a substantial social impact, reflecting a genuine passion for societal betterment.

Showcase success stories and impact metrics to build credibility and attract more participants to the network.


Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related
field is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in network building, consulting, mentoring, or similar roles with at least 5
years in a leadership capacity.

Established relationships within the startup ecosystem, educational institutions, or SME sector is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated experience with collaboration platforms and technology-driven engagement methodologies.

A strong track record of social engagement and community-building initiatives.
