Guidewire Developer-PC

This is a remote position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Guidewire Policy Center- Upgrade Should have experience of GW upgrade tools 
  
• Should have experience in PC minor and major upgrade 
  
• 4 years of Guidewire Experience (Policy Center) 
  
• Hands- on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XML Should be able to understand GW Integration / Configuration concepts 
  
• Should be able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC  
  
• Should be able to write GOSU code Product model set- up/ Rating experience will be added advantage 
  
• 6 years with Policy Center Configuration development experience with relevant certification, added advantage 6 years' 
  

Requirements

Required Technical Skills: 

• 4 years or more of technical hands-on experience on Guidewire applications Policy Center 
  
• Excellent hands-on experience on Java / GOSU 
  
• GOSU, GOSU Plugins, Screen Configuration 
  
• Good understanding of Property Casualty Insurance 
  
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, or related field. 
  

Preferred Technical Skills: 

• Java/J2EE, SOAP/Restful webservices Development 
  
• Hands on XML, HTML/JSP, Spring MVC, CSS, AJAX, Junit 
  
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming experience 
  
• Version control tools experience such as GIT 
  
• Work experience in a collaborative team environment 
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology. 
  
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill
