Email Marketing Executive
Email Marketing Executives are responsible for coordinating the content creation process, putting in place strategies to maximize performance, and hitting targets to ensure that we are delivering the best possible results to the client.
Content Coordination
Building of the Content calendar
Creating content briefs (nature of briefs will change and simplify once copywriters and designers take over content responsibility)
Ensuring content is scheduled and delivered on time
Approving Designers / Copywriters creative before submission to CM
Strategic Planning & Email Performance
Account audit and optimization suggestions during the project outlining stage (w/ CM)
Leading the sending strategy for clients- Send time, segmentation, testing
Flow planning and mapping (incl. Implementation schedule, optimization suggestions, flow plans, testing, content briefs, QA, implementation, monitoring results, SMS automations)
Internal and client-facing reporting (putting together numbers based on long-term strategic KPIs and goals as set by the CM and the client)
1 call (EOM) with the client - taking on a “technical expert” role where they would suggest improvements based on the results so far and propose technical solutions for strategic objectives (e.g. the client wants to start a loyalty program - EME explains what platform they need, how it integrates with Klaviyo, and what sort of flows we can build, then EME and CM discuss the strategy with the client)
Hitting monthly KPIs and performance goals per client
Submitting Monthly / Bi-Weekly performance reports to CM’s to track performance and isolate improvement areas for clients
Klaviyo Technical Support / Implementation
Setting up Klaviyo tests, and monitoring results, SMS campaigns
Troubleshooting technical issues in Klaviyo and SMS platforms (also other platforms like push notifications etc.)
Client communication - joining client calls when required to discuss Email strategy, Klaviyo technical support, or content coordination
Reporting
Completing brand research and to best understand how to serve clients & their specific goals
Creating testing plans and reports to optimize accounts on a bi-weekly / Monthly basis
Reporting on trends, competitor activity and analysis so we can position our clients well in their market
KPIs and Core Metrics:
Weekly and monthly performance objectives per client as set by CM (Email Revenue, % of revenue coming from Klaviyo, Campaign Revenue, Flow Revenue, click rate, engagement), etc.
Churn rate below a certain threshold (as set by the management team)
Quantity of service delivered to the client per contract (no. of campaigns, flows, popups, as stipulated in the contracts, need to be fulfilled each month)
EOW calls with CM to assess performance, discuss strategy
