Role & Responsibilities
• Take direction and instruction from the senior design team to work on the development of high-end residential design concepts, schematic and detailed design packages in line with client briefs
• Present and promote design concepts to the wider team and, where required, to clients
. • Produce work on the development and preparation of all scheme design activities
• Oversee the workflow and deliverables for Junior and Assistant Designers
• Communicate clearly and effectively to the wider project teams, both internally and externally
• Be comfortable working autonomously with exceptional attention to detail
• Regularly attend meetings and communicate effectively with the team, third parties and clients
• Ensure projects are being delivered correctly through regular communication and site visits
• Team management, delegate tasks and activities to junior team members, where required
• Ensure your time is logged against projects accurately
General Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Design
• Ability to take a design brief
• Ability to generate design ideas that respond to the brief and the architecture of the building
•
Be confident in the delivery of RIBA Stage 4 drawing packages for Interior Schemes under the supervision
of an Associate or Senior Level Architectural Interior Designer.
• Have a strong understanding of interior detailing and bespoke joinery
• Be experienced and confident in creating specification schedules, including but not limited to Cornice and Skirting Types, Door and Ironmongery Schedules, Sanitaryware and Finishes Schedules.

Ensure effective communication between the team and external consultants
• Ability to use multiple media to illustrate design ideas including AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign and Power Point as a minimum
• Ability to present ideas to the senior team and clients confidently and convincingly; both verbally and visually.
• Ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company’s design ethos and vision and ensure it is communicated and demonstrated throughout project work to raise standards of design.

• Ability to demonstrate in-depth creative and technical competency;
• Ability to provide creative solutions to problems whilst ensuring technical requirements are met;
