Job Overview

Solve.Care is seeking a Web3 Platform Architect.

You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of Solve.Care decentralised platform.

This role requires a deep understanding of Web3 technologies, blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi). The Web3 Architect will play a critical role in driving innovation and adoption of blockchain technologies within our digital transformation services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Manager, software engineers, Leads, and stakeholders, to successfully implement scalable and efficient solutions.

Core expertise:

1. Knowledge of Event driven Systems, Event stream and event flows
2. Knowledge of microservices orchestration design patterns (e.g. saga)
3. Knowledge and experience of building of Web3 and blockchain solutions, chains
4. Good knowledge of containerisation and container orchestration using Kubernetes
5. Experience in Infrastructure as code
6. Experience in platform as a service
7. Knowledge of end-to-end encryption methodologies and protocols
8. Knowledge of peer-to-peer communication designs
9. Java Spring and React
10. Cloudops exposure using AWS and it’s objects (S3, API gateway, lamda)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in blockchain protocols, Ethereum, smart contracts, and DeFi.

• Knowledge of microservices orchestration design patterns (e.g. saga)
• Good knowledge of containerisation and container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience in Infrastructure as code
• Experience in platform as a service
• Knowledge of end-to-end encryption methodologies and protocols
• Knowledge of peer-to-peer communication designs: Java Spring and React
• Cloudops exposure using AWS and it’s objects (S3, API gateway, lamda).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Solidity, Java, Spring boot, Even driven architecture, JavaScript, Python, or Go.

• Experience with blockchain development tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of cryptography and security principles in blockchain.

Responsibilities:

1. Architectural leadership

• Design and develop decentralized platform architecture, leveraging microservices. Ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and aligns with business objectives.

• Define and implement a robust and scalable blockchain architecture that accommodates diverse chains and ensures seamless communication.
• Blockchain Integration : Implement and integrate various blockchain protocols and platforms into the Mobius DTaaS offerings.

• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of the platform, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect the platform from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish and maintain effective continuous integration and deployment processes for the platform.

1. Business Acumen:

• Apply a strategic mindset to differentiate integration solutions that make business sense, enhancing adoption and increasing use cases.

• Evaluate the economic viability of interoperability features, particularly in the realm of seamless, low-latency data access.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

1. Interoperability Expertise:

• Drive the implementation and deployment of the platform infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility of various software components.

• Conduct in-depth research on different blockchain architectures, identifying key interoperability challenges, and proposing innovative solutions.
• Develop strategies and protocols to facilitate smooth data exchange and execution of smart contracts across various chains.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and interoperability of different software components.

1. Smart Contract Development :

• Develop and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms. Ensure contracts are optimized, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

1. Technical Leadership :

• Lead and mentor a team of blockchain developers and engineers, system administrators, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for the platform engineering team.

1. Innovation and Research :

• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to support the platform infrastructure.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends and advancements in blockchain, DeFi, and Web3. Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance Mobius's digital transformation solutions.

• Conduct research and proof-of-concept projects to explore new technologies and solutions for platform enhancement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Architect with a focus on interoperability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineering Architect or in a similar role within the software industry.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Solidity, Rust, or others relevant to blockchain development, Java.
• Previous experience in building and successfully implementing a long-term blockchain strategy.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and its various services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and ECS.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and their application in building scalable and maintainable software systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies, such as Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficiency in architectural design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking concepts, and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or blockchain certifications preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in blockchain technology, 5 years as Platform Architect with a focus on Web3, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
