Calendar Raffle Coordinator – Michigan (REMOTE)

Pay:  $20 per hour with no additional benefits

Position Type: Part Time
  

Ducks Unlimited - Michigan has an opening for a part-time temporary Calendar Raffle Coordinator. The Calendar Raffle Coordinator duties and responsibilities encompass the management of facets of the Michigan Ducks Unlimited Calendar Raffle:

Responsibilities:

Management of the Calendar Raffle production process:

  • Bid Process
  • Design/Layout
  • Prize Allocation
  • Printing

Other Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with businesses and partners during and after the development process of the Calendar Raffle.
  • Working with state staff and volunteers for the distribution, tracking and collection of calendars, tickets, and money.
  • Work financial figures during and after the completion of the Calendar Raffle.
  • Work closely with Michigan Ducks Unlimited volunteers and staff.
  • Organization of the drawing and winner posting/notification process.
  • Contact calendar winners and obtain necessary information.
  • Collect and manage FFL’s for firearm transfers.
  • Upload winner’s information and post on social media. 
  • Assist with the fulfillment and tracking of firearms/prizes. 
  • Hours will be 20 hours per week on average.
  • Long distance charged related to responsibilities and travel will be reimbursed (Federally approved mileage rates).

Manage Gaming Licenses and Ensure Compliancy

  • Having a knowledge of and updates of the Michigan Gambling rules and regulations.
  • Complete and submit necessary documents for upcoming events
  • Complete and submit necessary financial documents upon completion of events
  • Procure signatures on documents when needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience and Education: Volunteer experience with Ducks Unlimited or similar organizations will benefit candidates. 
  • Communication Skills: This position requires an aptitude for building and managing relationships with a very diverse group of volunteers and staff along with an emphasis on effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technological Proficiency: Candidates must be able to work with proficiency on a personal computer with basic skills in MS Office applications and have a working familiarity with the Internet.  Candidate will work from home. 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Applicants must be self-motivated and eager to accept challenging goals.
