About This Job

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution specializing in analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand. Reporting to the Workforce Management leader, you will provide workforce analytics focused on ensuring alignment with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Core Duties by Competency:

Knows the Business

  • A motivated and adaptable individual with a track record of managing workforce optimization and delivering exceptional operational performance in a complex, global back-office environment.
  • Primary responsibilities are to develop, implement, maintain, and optimize workforce management solutions to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence and enable, motivate, and engage employees.

Leads Others

  • Lead and manage a team of workforce management professionals, providing guidance and development to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and across the organization.
  • Work cross-functionally to forecast needs, budgets, new hire trends, monitoring, etc.
  • Able to present ideas and directions that lead others to action.

Accountable

  • Provide regular reports to management on workload and workforce to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Research, recommend, and implement technology and process improvements to reduce costs.
  • Optimize scheduling to improve customer and team member experience.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to improve utilization and reduce overall costs.
  • Focus on optimizing labor costs by monitoring planned, scheduled, and actual hours with various departments to recommend changes to meet defined targets.

Team Player

  • Own and manage relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their workforce needs and ensure service commitments are met.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Implementations, and Operations to allocate teams to satisfy customer demand.
  • Work with Finance, Sales, and Operations to maintain budget accuracy and improve forecast capabilities.
  • Work with talent acquisition to continue to build a diversified and rich talent pipeline that ensures a great customer experience.
  • Promote Culture of Respect & Safety:
    • Demonstrate commitment to personal responsibility and value for safety and respect; Communicate concerns.
    • Use and promote safe respectful behaviors based on training and lessons learned.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Workforce Management, Operations, or Strategic Workforce Planning roles.
  • Very proficient with Microsoft Excel - can perform complex functions.
  • Well-versed in translating descriptions of work into requirements for people.
  • Able to work with large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns and summarize findings in easy-to-understand formats.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in workforce forecasting, scheduling, and optimization tools.
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, adaptability, and nimbleness prevail.

Working Conditions

  • Work from home.
