Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our cutting-edge cybersecurity organization. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in network security, Zero Trust architecture, and infrastructure, with a solid understanding of cloud and container technologies. This role will involve contributing to the design, implementation, and management of our cybersecurity infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on network security, Zero Trust principles, and endpoint protection across our diverse capabilities, including SEIM infrastructure, SASE, DLP, and security engineering and architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of Zero Trust architecture to secure network and access controls across the organization.
• Participate in security engineering and architecture reviews to ensure compliance with network security best practices and standards.
• Design and manage secure network infrastructures, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
• Develop and automate security tools and processes to enhance network security posture and efficiency.
• Support the implementation and management of endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SEIM infrastructure, including data collection, correlation, and alerting, with a focus on network security.
• Integrate and manage Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions to ensure secure and optimized network access.
• Assist in overseeing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and tools.
• Provide expert guidance on network security, Zero Trust principles, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security incidents and improve incident response procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in network security and Zero Trust.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Extensive knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and its implementation in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven skills in automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, Layer 7 protocols, and identity-based access controls.
• Experience with cloud identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and SCIM/SAML integrations.
• Proficiency with security tools and frameworks such as NIST and MITRE.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and techniques.
• Experience with SEIM platforms such as Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar, particularly in relation to network security.
• Knowledge of SASE and DLP solutions and their implementation.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in cybersecurity.

• Experience with security operations and incident response, particularly in network environments.
• Understanding of Zero Trust principles and advanced network security strategies.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 99,700.00 - 185,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
