Job Description

Liberty University School of Education is seeking faculty to teach online doctoral coursework in the area of Quantitative Research Methods. If you are an experienced professional with a terminal degree in Education, completed a quantitative dissertation, have published quantitative research, and have the desire to prepare students for the critical thinking needed to conduct their own quantitative research - we invite you to apply. Work with us and be a part of preparing students to be Champions for Christ in the field of education. Classes are offered in an asynchronous, 8-week format.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicant must have an EdD or PhD in Education - Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Full doctrinal compatibility with Liberty University
  • Must demonstrate expertise in quantitative research
  • Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills required
  • Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas)


Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with an established record of research evidenced by intellectual and professional contributions to the field through peer-reviewed publication and conference presentations. Preference will be given to candidates with capstone, dissertation, or thesis mentorship experience and experience teaching research methods using online learning platforms (e.g., Canvas). Candidates must work well with others and be able to work at a pace that will not delay the progress of a doctoral candidate toward timely completion of the doctoral degree.
