What You'll Do

Position Overview

As the Product Lead for Gainsight at Avalara, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customer success platform to maximize client satisfaction and retention. Gainsight is a critical tool in our strategy to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a product strategy for Gainsight that aligns with overall business objectives and customer success goals.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Define and prioritize features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Product Development: Work closely with technology, and other stakeholders to execute the product roadmap effectively and ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Customer Insights: Utilize Gainsight and other relevant data sources to gather insights into customer behavior, needs, and pain points to inform product decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer success, and executive leadership, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with the Gainsight product roadmap.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to customer success platforms, particularly Gainsight.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the success and impact of Gainsight features and initiatives.


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a strong understanding of customer success principles and practices.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Gainsight is highly preferred. Proficiency in agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful product launches from concept to delivery.


Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $95,500 - $152,700 (annually)

Washington $95,500 - $168,700 (annually)

California $95,500 - $184,900 (annually)

New York $115,500 - $184,900 (annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on multiple factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
