Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Administrator to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in dealing with commercial lines and will be responsible for managing and administering the insurance needs of our properties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a thorough understanding of insurance policies, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with insurance brokers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.
  • Liaise with property managers to gather necessary information for insurance policies.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive records of insurance documents.
  • Track policy renewal dates and ensure timely renewals.
  • Evaluate and compare insurance policies to ensure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, brokers, and property managers regarding insurance matters.
  • Assist in the resolution of insurance-related issues and claims.
  • Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the property management team.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Previous experience in insurance administration, property management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and property management is a plus.
