Your missions

We’re looking for a highly motivated, positive, and animal-loving Pet Specialist to help deliver an amazing customer experience and drive customer loyalty.

As part of the Pet claims experience team you’ll ensure an efficient, surprisingly delightful, and solution-driven experience for our customers by answering claim questions and educating on claim outcomes in a clear and concise manner.


In this role you’ll


  • Flex your creativity by adapting your support style to meet each customer’s unique needs in a wide variety of situations
  • Build customer confidence in our brand by showcasing deep knowledge of our pet insurance offering
  • Identify and communicate critical pain points of our customer user experience, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Interact closely with our Claims Advocates to resolve open claims quickly
  • Bring our values to life through your interactions, while building community across our teams and the company as a whole


What you’ll need


  • Prior employment in veterinary medicine (small animal) or pet health insurance
  • Experience using a customer-centric approach to de-escalate and problem solve
  • Ability to work across multiple support channels, depending on business needs
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for outstanding customer experiences and education
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems and programs at once (experience with Zendesk and Talkdesk, an advantage)

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.11-$24.03 per hour, plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
